Soludo’ll complete projects in Ogbaru – Gov. Obiano

Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State has assured the people of Ogbaru Local Government Area of the State that all the projects he did not complete in his tenure would be completed by his successor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo
Speaking while addressing the Ogbarus in continuation of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) campaign in the Local Government for the November 6 Governorship Election, Governor Obiano described APGA as a winning party.

Gov. Obiano poured encomium on the chairman of Ogbaru Local Government Area, Hon. Arinzechukwu Awogu, for his brilliant coordination and efforts to consolidate APGA in his Local Government Area.
The Governor noted that Hon. Awogu is a real goal getter who never give up in fullfilling his responsibilities.

He equally lauded him for the mammoth gathering of APGA members, assuring that he has written his name with golden pen as far as APGA is concerned and he would be reciprocated by making sure that some uncompleted projects in Ogbaru would be completed by his successor if APGA emerges victory in November 6 election.

In his remarks, the Chairman described Governor Obiano as “a working , best security and alert Governor.”

He expressed his delights and zeal for APGA , stating that “APGA is for Ogbaru and Ogbaru is for APGA”.
He commended Governor Obiano for his monumental achievements in the state especially his recent completed passenger and cargo Airport in the state and other legacy projects in Ogbaru Local Area, as well as appointments of some Ogbaru indigenes at the state administration.

He recalled that Ogbaru never lagged behind in supporting APGA since its inception in Anambra State, pointing out that during the recent primary election in the party, Ogbaru delivered 100%, even as he assured the Governor that Ogbaru will also deliver the same 100% votes to APGA in the November 6 poll.

Similarly, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Farm Implementation, Sir Paul Nwosu, disclosed that Governor Obiano used his influence to initiate Ogbaru as an Oil producing Local Government and also initiated Accelerated Agricultural Developmental Scheme (AADS) which according to him, the Ogbarus have benefited immensely.

The chairman of APGA in Ogbaru Local Government Area, Hon. Nnamdi Ifejika, while commending the Governor for what he has done for Ogbaru, stated that the Local Government has 16 active wards and they are all working for the success of APGA.

He however, assured the Governor that Ogbaru can never forget him for the love he has shown them and pleaded with him to remember that some roads in Ogbaru which have been awarded are not completed, and pleaded that his successor should complete it for them.
He regretted that the major challenges of Ogbaru LGA is access roads.

The highlight of campaign rally was the defection of about 100 members of both People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) to APGA.
Finally, Obiano promised that henceforth the defected members would be treated as a full-fledged members of the party as they would be accorded all the rights and privileges due to all APGA members in the state.
